El miércoles 20 de julio, la administración municipal de Ibagué, en cabeza del alcalde Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo, lideró la marcha libertaria en la ciudad de Ibagué, con el fin de conmemorar el grito de independencia que se dio hace 206 años, y ratificar su compromiso en pro de la paz.

La marcha libertaria por la paz, contó con la participación de más de 2.000 personas, además de carrozas, muestras artísticas y culturales, bandas de los colegios, fundaciones, sindicatos, educativas, el Comité Ambiental del Tolima, e institutos como Infibaguè entre otras organizaciones.
